Our business

Positive Development Investments was born out of many years of property development experience in both London and the North West of England. We specialise in providing low density, high-quality homes for the discerning purchaser with money and sense in equal measure. Through experience, we know how to produce delightful homes that represent excellent value with great investment growth potential. Our philosophy is one of common sense; addressing the needs and wants of the buyer to provide an end product that delights rather than just simply satisfying.
For our finance partners and Investors, our business model provides a solid base investment in real value, with nothing left to chance and a core guiding principle of experience and attention to detail. Quality in makes quality out which in turn provides reliable returns based on real ‘value add’ as opposed to reliance on uplift or speculation.

Our experience
Maurice Potts, Managing Director of Positive Developments has over 25 years of experience as a landlord and small scale residential property developer. Most developments have been in and around London with an emphasis on purchasing intrinsic value for refurbishment into high spec, luxury flats in the mid-market space. In 2004, Maurice purchased several Georgian Townhouse apartments in central Liverpool and consequently became familiar with the area, including, over the last few years, the Wirral, which is a retirement and commuter catchment within the environs of Cheshire.
Experience relates to both conversions and refurbishments, working with a small, trusted team of tradesmen and advisors.
Previous projects

Detached disused nursing home for conversion in to 5 x 2 bed maisonettes

Large property over 3 floors for conversion to 3 high spec 3 bed flats overlooking what we hope will soon be agreed as the site for a Championship Golf course in one of the Wirral’s most affluent centres.

Conversion of a 4 Storey townhouse to 2 x luxury 2 bed/bath apartments. This included excavation of a basement and complete re-modelling

Conversion of a 3 bed / 2 bath apartment to an open plan high-spec apartment.

Large 4/5 bed garden apartment with the appearance and feel of a house. This project necessitated the re-configuration and design of rooms; providing for a brand new bathroom and an en-suite. Preparation included providing a new, separate water supply.

A three floor building comprising of three flats. The building had to be gutted, renovated and remodeled, providing 3 newly renovated and fit for purchase upscale flats.
